Hello! My Name is Marcy Bazan. I am a certified massage therapist and a certified medical massage practitioner in the state of California with more than 14 years of experience. It is nice to meet you!
My massage therapy career began at United Education Institute with more than 700 hours of training in anatomy and physiology. I graduated in 2009 and began with hands-on work at various spas throughout San Diego. During my time in the spa industry, I learned that I could deliver a relaxing massage and have my client feel better. Everyone expects to feel good after a massage but feeling better was a pleasant surprise to all of my clients. My spa career would end when I found my true calling in a massage clinic in La Mesa that focused on pain management. There, I would refine my skills to better serve my clients with their massage wellness goals.
Carrying on with my renewed passion I have opened up my own massage office. I intend to keep learning and growing as a massage therapist to better serve my clients. As an example of my evolution as a massage therapist, I have recently completed various trainings. Training in Myofascial Cupping Therapy has enhanced the results of my hands-on massage by delivering fascial release of affected areas. My latest training has certified me as a Medical Massage Practitioner further developing my massage in a clinical direction to better the quality of life of my clients.
