La Mesa Massage Therapy San Diego Swedish Massage Relaxation Sports Massage Angela Robertson

My name is Chloe, and I am relatively new to San Diego. I moved here at the end of 2016 and have been loving it so far although Texas will always be home for me. Before I moved here, I worked at Massage Envy for a year and spent time as a Certified Nurse Aide as well.
I have two pug mixes who absolutely run the house, so if I am not doing my school work or at work, I am probably out walking them or taking them to the dog beach or dog park. I also consider myself a very active person, so any free time is spent hiking, at the gym or Pilates class, or rock climbing.
I look forward to getting to know you and help you in any way possible!

Our staff at Massage La Mesa are passionate about what they do.  Our massage therapists have a high level of training in Anatomy and several years of massage experience in multiple settings.  They stay current with continuing education so you can rest assured you are getting the best massage in San Diego.  We like to explain our process and educate our clients about what they can do at home to help reach their goals.  Whether that's get out of pain or stay on the golf course, our therapists have the education to help!  Meet our staff.

My name is Marcy and I am a happy to be at Massage La Mesa.  I have been practicing massage         therapy for the last six years at different spas in San Diego.  Medical massage was always something   that interested me but I never knew how to go about executing that change.  Now, here I am ready to   offer the medical massage world my knowledge and learn from clients as well.  I'm really looking           forward to it.

I recently began my Bachelor's degree program in Complementary and Alternative Health.  In pursuing this degree, I hope to be of use in hospitals that use Western Medicine as well as holistic alternatives.

I am excited to break out of the mold that the spa world has created.  The ability to be creative and try  new things in treatment sessions is something I am truly looking forward to.  My goal is that every client I touch becomes a better version of themselves.  I can't wait to work with you!

My name is Aimee and I’ve been a massage therapist a little over 8 years.   When I was 16 I visited a massage school with my mom and I loved it.  At that time I didn't realize it could be a career. I thought it was something other people did, not a "real" job.  Fast forward 20 years and I was looking to go back to work after having my last child.  My previous jobs had not been anything I loved and then I remembered visiting the massage school.  That was it; I knew I had found what I was looking for.  I enrolled in a school in Chula Vista and have been massaging ever since.  I’ve worked at a few places over the years and the retirement home which was my first job while still in massage school, has by far been my favorite.

I believe our bodies want to be well.  It sometimes takes a little coaxing to get us there. Massage is a great way to mesh mind, body and spirit to help keep us on that path to wellness.  I look forward to meeting and working with you.

My name is Sydney and my journey originated long before massage school with a family tradition of homeopathic remedies and a passion for helping others.  I was led to the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, Virginia where I was inspired by a holistic community founded on the work of Edgar Cayce.

For the last 8 years I've gained essential experience working with chiropractors and performing therapeutic pain management body work utilizing Acupressure, Reflexology, and Myofascial release combined with the Cayce/Reilly massage modality to address chronic pain and injury/surgery rehabilitation.  I also have extensive knowledge in prenatal massage and love the opportunity to offer comfort and relief to expecting mothers.

Focusing on balance is an integral part of my philosophy on health and life.  This approach strongly influences my methods.  Most dis-ease in the body can be addressed in natural ways to bring the body back to homeostasis.  "Listening" to the body, especially in how certain conditions or symptoms present themselves is a specially honed skill.  I look forward to helping your being create the space to heal, recover and be at peace.

About Massage La mesa staff

4817 palm ave. Suite i

La Mesa, CA 91942

I’ve always been an active person.  Playing sports and a runner my whole life lead me to study how the human body moved in college.  I loved learning the anatomy and physiology of the body.  I find it fascinating that every human being is made up of all the same muscles no matter their age, height, or weight!

I earned a bachelor's of science in Kinesiology from San Diego State University, became a certified personal trainer, have over 1000 hours of massage training, worked as team massage therapist for the San Diego Gulls two seasons, and taught massage therapy for five years before deciding to have a full time massage career.

Even 19 years after first being licensed, I'm learning something new every day and love the field of massage therapy.  Read more about Angela.
